Princess Square Christmas shoppers are big Game winners
15/12/03
Christmas came early for three lucky Bracknell shoppers who this last week went home with a brand new Playstation 2, after they were named winners of the Princess Square prize draw at the recent Christmas lights switch-on event.
The winners – Patrick Donnelly and his son Christopher and Carol Fernley – took home the state of the art video games, courtesy of the Game store in Princess Square.
Steve Wilkinson, Game manager and Princess Square centre manager Steve Fawke were on hand to present the prizes.
The successful Christmas lights switch-on by actor Brian Capron, aka Coronation Street bad guy Tricky Dicky, kicked off a season of Christmas entertainment in Bracknell organised by Bracknell Regeneration Partnership, the landowners behind the proposed 500m town centre regeneration project.
David Gregory, development manager for Bracknell Regeneration Partnership, said: “The Christmas prize draw was part of a host of events and entertainment in the town centre aimed at bringing excitement and vitality to the Bracknell shopping experience. This is just the beginning. Our redevelopment project will create a vibrant town centre to attract shoppers and visitors all year round.”
