Bracknell Regeneration Partnership (BRP) is delighted to announce the arrival of further new brands to the town centre. Popular ladies fashion store Bay Trading is set to open a store next to M&S Food on Stanley Walk, with a concession to footwear specialist, Dolcis.
Charles Duffy, Retail Operations Director for Bay Trading comments: “Bracknell has been identified as a target location for some time, and the location, catchment and existing retail offer is complementary to our offer. The retail market is healthy and buoyant in Bracknell and we believe that our stylish range of fashions for women will be a hit with Bracknell shoppers.”
Clare Juniper, Head of Strategic Asset Management at BRP comments: “We know that Bay Trading and Dolcis will be well-received in Bracknell, as their fashionable clothing and footwear will complement the retailers we already have in the town centre, while offering more variety and choice for Bracknell shoppers.
“We are investing in the town centre ahead of the regeneration, by introducing great new brands, supporting the expansion of local independent retailers and improving facilities, such as the Princess Square Car Park and the High Street refurbishment. Our aim is to significantly brighten the shopping experience for all visitors to the town centre!”
This month, BRP embarks on a phased upgrading of the car park at Princess Square Shopping Centre and a comprehensive 350,000 refurbishment of units on the west High Street, to modernise and brighten the shopping environment. BRP are actively improving the town centre retail mix and have recently introduced new stores, such as Shu-Time and Orange and brands such as YSL in Bentalls. The team have successfully completed relocations of several local businesses, such as Tudor Dry Cleaning, Just in Time and Aspeys Insurance. Expansion of existing local retailers, such as Headlines’ expansion into a new Nail bar store, and support for new start up businesses such as Stamposaurus has also been a priority for the team.
