24/07/07
Bracknell Regeneration Partnership (BRP) is delighted to announce that Sam Buckley has been promoted to Deputy Operations Manager.
Formerly Bracknell’s Town Centre Ranger, Sam role continues to be the promotion of a safer and cleaner Bracknell town centre, working with retailers and key stakeholders in the town. In supporting Operations Manager Ronnie Kendall, Sam will be responsible for ensuring smooth running of the day-to-day operations across the Bracknell Estate.
Sam Buckley comments: “It is an honour to accept this role, particularly at such an exciting time in Bracknell’s history. I look forward to working closely with my team to continue to ensure Bracknell is a safe, clean, convenient and family-friendly town centre for all shoppers and visitors.”
Clare Juniper, Head of Strategic Asset Management for the Bracknell Regeneration Partnership (BRP) comments: “We are delighted to announce Sam’s well-deserved promotion to Deputy Operations Manager for BRP. A dedicated and well-respected member of the operations and facilities management team, Sam will continue to support all our retailers by ensuring the smooth running of the town centre. As we progress the exciting regeneration of Bracknell, it is increasingly important that we have the right individuals working together to support the town centre’s growth.”
Sam will continue to work closely with BRP’s security team and Bracknell Business Against Crime (BBAC) to help keep Bracknell safe for families, reduce crime and create more community spirit. Sam works with the retailers and businesses in the town centre that support the Safer Shopping Scheme. This links them to a comprehensive CCTV system through a shared radio network, allowing the team to respond efficiently to incidents across the town centre. Sam also continues to liaise with the Thames Valley Police School Liaison Officer in the promotion of the Safe Child Scheme, which teaches children to look for the logo at over 80 stores in the town and make themselves known at the till of those stores in the event that they are separated from their families. This allows the security team to carry out procedure to reunite the child to its family as quickly as possible.
