Helen Barnett of Bracknell Regeneration Partnership (BRP), the developer who is delivering a 750million regeneration programme in Bracknell, comments: “This is great news for Bracknell Forest! In choosing Bracknell for this episode, Location, Location, Location is proving what we have all known for a long time, that Bracknell Forest is a highly desirable place to live and it is only going to get better, with more homes to be built and our massively exciting regeneration programme which is set to enhance the town centre. It is no surprise that Bracknell is one of the hot pockets of property activity in the South East.”
The regeneration will introduce fantastic new leisure facilities, retail space, homes, cafes and restaurants and open public spaces which will make Bracknell Forest an even more attractive opportunity for prospective home owners in the area. The regeneration will also deliver highway and public transport improvements, and new public buildings, including a larger town centre library, which will really add value for all Bracknell Forest residents.
Bracknell town centre has always had a convenient and varied shopping offer, mixing high street brands with local niche retailers. It is served by the Princess Square Shopping Centre, which boasts Bentalls as its anchor department store, and shops along the High Street and in Charles Square.
