Get into the bean scene in Bracknell - Costa comes to the High Street

07/05/08

Costa is bringing a taste of Italy to Bracknell with the opening of a new store, at 51 High Street, on 22 May 2008.

Following an investment of around £250,000, the new Costa store will boast fresh and contemporary décor complete with quality interiors and comfortable leather sofas.

The opening will produce more than eight new jobs in the local area, ranging from management positions to Costa’s famous ‘Baristas’, the Italian name for a coffee expert.

Customers will be able to enjoy a wide range of hot and cold drinks, from lattes to macchiato’s, as well as a range of savoury snacks, sandwiches and a selection of sweet products.

New this month is Costa’s Citrus Fruits Frescato, a cool refreshing, 99% fat free ice blended drink, perfect for seeing the summer days in. The packaging is also new featuring the hibiscus flower design to give a fun, summery feel to the product.

Marta Paredes, Store Manager for the new Bracknell Costa store, commented, “We are all very excited about the new opening and are looking forward to welcoming our first customers. We hope to provide local people of Bracknell the opportunity to enjoy the unique taste and aroma of Costa’s authentic Italian coffee in a friendly and comfortable environment.”

Bracknell Regeneration Partnership (BRP) takes pleasure in welcoming the authentic Italian coffee shop chain, which is now the fastest and largest growing coffee business in the UK with 700 stores.

Clare Juniper, Head of Asset Management, BRP says: “We are delighted that Costa has taken one of the high street units, we are always trying to improve the retail mix in the town centre. The arrival of Costa is sure to build on Bracknell’s future success.”
