BRP presents bumper prizes to Christmas winners
25/11/04
Following an exciting night of family fun, entertainment and fireworks during the switching-on of Bracknell’s Christmas Lights, town centre landowners Bracknell Regeneration Partnership (BRP) have announced the two lucky winners of their free prize draw.
The star prize of a laptop worth 750, generously donated by Netvigator Wireless Broadband, was presented to Mr David Penson from Bracknell on Monday 22 November by representatives from BRP and Bracknell Forest Borough Council, as well as by the Netvigator team.
As Bracknell is one of only seven towns in the Thames Valley area that has been chosen as a launch pad for Netvigator’s revolutionary wireless broadband technology, which negates the need for telephone lines or cable connections and is up to 20 times faster than standard connections, Mr Penson’s prize is a real bonus.
Equally useful with the festive season looming, Mr Paul Lovelock from Bracknell won 150 to spend in The Christmas Store on The Broadway. Store Manager Patsy Bell presented Mr Lovelock with his prize in-store on Sunday. Sarah Hawkins, also from The Christmas Store comented:
“It was great to see how much fun the Lovelock family had choosing their Christmas decorations, crackers, toys and outdoor lights from our large selection. With this year’s low prices they got lots for their money and so we are already looking forward to the next draw, which will take place on Sunday 5th December.”
Entry forms for the next Christmas Store 150 Prize Draw are available in the Bracknell Christmas Shopping Guide.
In-line with BRP’s commitment to bringing an increase in vitality to the town centre, making it a lively focal point for everyone to enjoy, Santa Claus will also be visiting Bracknell to spread a little seasonal cheer in the run up to Christmas.
Stationed on the first floor of Princess Square, which will be festively adorned by The Christmas Shop, Santa will be free to listen to your Christmas wishes every weekend from 20 November and then also every weekday from 1 December.
