JUS Juice brings Bubble Tea to the UK
04/09/08
Bracknell Regeneration Partnership (BRP) has signed a lease with JUS Juice Bar, which has opened a store at Kiosk 9 in the Princess Square shopping centre.
Offering customers a tasty selection of smoothies and fruit juices, JUS Juice is the first ever juice bar in the UK to serve Bubble Tea – the latest drinks trend to sweep the world.
Bubble Tea is a beverage that originated in Taiwan in the early 1980’s and has since spread to trendy hot spots across Canada, Australia and the USA.
The word bubble refers to “bubbling”, the process by which certain types of bubble tea are made and the distinctive characteristics of bubble tea are the black gummy balls that sit at the bottom of the cup. It is a mixture of iced or hot sweetened tea, milk, and other flavourings.
Benny Ho, owner of JUS Juice comments: “I am really excited about introducing Bubble Tea to the people of Bracknell. The BRP management team has been fantastic and their support has been a great help to me. I am positive my business will be a success in the town!
Clare Juniper, Head of Asset Management, BRP added: “It is with great pleasure that we welcome JUS Juice to the town. I’m sure it will be a big hit with customers in Bracknell and I’m certainly looking forward to trying Bubble Tea! We’re all striving to improve our town centre and new retailers like this play a significant part in that.”
