Celebrate an 'eggcelent' Easter in Bracknell

Celebrate an ‘eggcelent’ Easter at the Bracknell town centre Easter ‘Eggstravaganza’!
The town centre will be transformed into a springtime farmyard on Thursday, March 31 in celebration of Easter and there will be events and activities for all the family from 10.30am – 4pm.
Mobile farm, Miller’s Ark will bring a menagerie of young farmyard friends, including lambs, kids, piglets and chicks to the town centre for youngsters to enjoy the sights and sounds of a real farmyard while Farms2ewe’s popular pets’ corner will include rabbits and guinea pigs for youngsters to pet.
The more adventurous animal lover can go one to one with ‘raptors’ as birds of prey handlers show off peregrine falcons, buzzards, European eagle owls and Harris hawks close up.
Thrill seekers of all ages can test their skill against the rodeo bull as it spins, turns and bucks while they fight to stay in the saddle!
For those who prefer to sit still Iver Nature Study Centre will be running Easter collage workshops to create a pop-up rabbit from an Easter egg in the bandstand.
Throughout the day street entertainers and the Easter Bunny will be spreading Easter cheer with free balloons and chocolates for all children.
Town centre stores Topman, Topshop, Burtons, Dorothy Perkins and Pouncetts Family Florists will be offering 10% off of all purchases on March 31 on production of an edge card and bell boys will be on hand to give mums and dads a helping hand with their shopping bags! Musical trio Swanee 3 will help shopping go with a swing too.
From Good Friday (March 25) until March 31 young shoppers can enter the ‘eggcellent’ Easter Egg Hunt by following clues hidden in town centre shop windows; Great prizes include family tickets to Legoland.
The popular Makendoo face painter will be in Princess Square on Good Friday (March 25) and Saturday (March 26) from 11am – 5pm and again from Friday, April 1 to Sunday, April 3.
The town centre will be open throughout the Easter holidays (except Easter Sunday) from 9am-5.30pm on Good Friday and Easter Saturday and 11am-5pm on Easter Monday with plentiful, free parking on Good Friday and Easter Monday.
Whatever you need for your Easter celebrations it’s in store in Bracknell from eggs and chocolates, to hot cross buns and spring flowers.
