Paints, pencils and pens ready for Easter ‘Eggstravaganza’ art competition!
Get your paints, pencils and pens ready for the Bracknell town centre Easter ‘Eggstravaganza’ art competition with some great prizes up for grabs!
Children across the Borough are invited to create a springtime masterpiece for the competition. Prizes for the competition include family tickets to The Look Out Discovery Centre and Coral Reef Waterworld.
Bracknell Forest Borough Council and Bracknell Regeneration Partnership (BRP) are holding the Easter ‘Eggstravaganza’ in the town centre on Thursday, March 31 when Charles and Princess Squares will be transformed into springtime scenes. Activities in the town centre include children’s entertainment, music, farmyard animals, an Easter egg hunt, farmyard equipment, the council’s working shire horses Bracken and Bramble and arts and crafts.
All entries for the art competition will be displayed in the town centre from March 24 and judging will take place on Easter ‘Eggstravagaza’ day by Cllr Alan Browne, Mayor of the Borough of Bracknell Forest.
The entry rules are simple, pictures:
- Must be themed around Easter;
- Must be A4 sized;
- Can use any medium;
- Must include the name, age, Year group and school of artist;
- Must be submitted before Monday, March 21.
There will be three prizes, 1st, 2nd and 3rd, in two age groups 5-8 and 9-11.
